Grace Huynh received her PhD in Bioengineering from UCSF/UC Berkeley, where she developed drug delivery methods for delivering nanoparticles and small molecules to the brain. She subsequently received her MD at Stanford University. Most recently, she worked with the Institute for Disease Modeling, leading development of a computational model for tuberculosis disease progression and transmission. This model was used to support policy at the Chinese Center for Disease Control and to support the TB delivery strategy at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Her work at MIT is focused on the integration of novel neurotechnologies for brain mapping.
